A Message from Dave Sullivan
Welcome to our campaign.
I have made the commitment to be the Democratic candidate for Northwestern District Attorney. I believe the Office of Northwestern District Attorney needs new leadership, commitment, and vision to enhance the delivery of justice in our courtrooms and communities. I am confident that the Office of Northwestern District Attorney can be a better community partner in making our communities safer and stronger, our justice system more accessible and responsive.
As your District Attorney and chief law enforcement official, I will be committed to protecting the people of Hampshire and Franklin Counties and the town of Athol through firm but fair prosecutions while also implementing innovative programs in our schools and communities to prevent crime before it occurs.
New Leadership for Justice
I believe that I have the experience, proven leadership skills, and public service background to serve as your District Attorney. As an experienced leader in the justice field, including serving as the Hampshire County Register of Probate, Easthampton City Attorney, and Past President of the Hampshire County Bar Association, I am prepared to make our District Attorney's Office the best prosecutor's office in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
My 16 years as a trial attorney, handling thousands of criminal and civil cases, gives me the advocacy skills and good judgment to meet the challenges of being the Northwestern District Attorney.
Bringing Justice to the Community
We can do more much more to help people in our community who need the District Attorney’ Office’s assistance. Enhancing education and outreach opportunities with schools, law enforcement, family centers, senior centers, human service agencies, and community groups will help keep the promise of an accessible and responsive Office for all who need its assistance.
Additionally, we would create a Citizen’s Guide to the Office of the Northwestern District Attorney and improve and enhance the Northwestern District Attorney Website. Further, to be actively engaged in and expand DA Community Education and Outreach Programs.
